Sara Ellen Gilstrap

Sara Ellen Gilstrap is a stylist at the salon and has worked as a professional hairstylist for more than 18 years. She started training at the Aveda Institute Chapel Hill in 2006, then completed an apprenticeship and worked at Modern Salon and Spa in Charlotte.

She has since taken advanced courses in haircutting, hair styling, hair color systems and business management, and has joined education teams to teach new and upcoming stylists. Alongside her work at the salon, she continues to see private clients. Her specialties are short and long haircuts, blonding techniques and grey coverage.
