Sapphire

Sapphire owns Hair by Sapphire in Burbank, where she works as a hair stylist, wig maker, hair weaver and men's groomer. Her skills cover creative styling, extensions that are hard to spot, made-to-measure wigs, wig styling and upkeep, period-accurate styling, hair health, cutting and color, and men's grooming and barbering.

She has worked as a time period wig stylist for the Walt Disney Company at Disneyland. Her television and film work also includes television commercials, music videos, theatre, print and new media. Highlights include hair department head work on a Mariah Carey Christmas special for Apple TV, wig styling on RuPaul's Drag Race seasons, and personal hair styling for Gayle King at the CBS broadcast of the Grammy Awards. She also did key hair work on commercials for Ford, Uber, Taco Bell and Infiniti, and has worked on the film Blonde, the film Distant Vision and the stage production Scooby Doo! Live Musical Mysteries.

Her credentials include a Schwarzkopf Professional On Set Hair Coloring Journeyman certification, certification in Time Period Hair Styling with Gail Ryan, and certification as a Wahl Clipper Cutting Master. She also holds Barbicide disinfection and sanitation certification. Clients can book her for entertainment, film, television, print, press junket and fashion work.
