Sandy

Sandy owns gossip.SALON, where she also works as a stylist, and has been hairstyling for 25 years. She has led the salon for 11 years. After earning a bachelor's degree in fine arts from Metropolitan State University in Denver, she spent nine years as a graphic designer in corporate settings before turning to hair. Her cosmetology license comes from Antione du Chez Academy in Cherry Creek, and she holds an advanced haircut specialist certification from Zone Academy, where she trained with Philip Wilson. Further training covers men's cutting at American Crew in Denver, up-do styling with Vivian McKenna in New York, and Brazilian blowout and coloring classes taught by Robert Cromeans of Paul Mitchell. Her specialties are highlighting, coloring, balayage, twin comb cutting and men's cutting, and she also does keratin and Brazilian straightening as well as clip-in and weft hair extensions.
