Samuel Rhee, MD

Dr. Rhee practices at Rhee Plastic Surgery and is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He has more than 15 years of experience in cosmetic surgery of the face, body and breast. He serves as Associate Director of Plastic Surgery at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, New Jersey, and works as an attending surgeon at Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack, New Jersey. His education started with a biology and philosophy degree from Duke University, followed by medical school at Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons, general surgery at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, and a plastic surgery residency at the University of Michigan Medical Center. He later completed a craniofacial surgery fellowship at UCLA Medical Center under Dr. Henry Kawamoto, Jr. Beyond his clinical work, he has an interest in international medical care and has travelled to Colombia, Bangladesh, China and North Korea as a surgical care provider and as a lecturer for medical education.
