Samira

Samira is the founder and master microblading artist behind the studio, which she launched in April 2016. She began working in the beauty industry in 2013, after about a decade as a fashion designer in New York City, and her career spans more than 20 years across fashion, beauty, media and entrepreneurship. She has also worked as a costume designer in Los Angeles, an illustrator and a salon owner, and she studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology and Parsons School of Design before earning a Bachelor of Science in Marketing (Honors) from George Mason University. Her permanent makeup training began with a PhiBrows microblading certification in London in January 2016, taught by Dovile Zilinskaite, and that year she became the first PhiBrows Royal Artist in the Washington D.C. area. In 2017 she served as Assistant Master Trainer for PhiBrows courses in Washington D.C. and co-trained several courses there that October. Further training includes work with Nicole Hahn and Jelena Meier in Miami in 2018, combo brows and permanent makeup with Lindsey Ta in Los Angeles in 2019, eyeliner with Girlz Ink and Stefanie Toms, and lips with Tess Marti. She also trained in the 12 Season System with Sissa German of Drops de Cor and is a certified 12-Season Color Analyst. She focuses on customized, natural microblading and permanent makeup, shaping and coloring brows to each client's features. Her work was featured on HUDA Beauty in January 2018.
