Samantha

Samantha works as a medical aesthetician, professional laser hair removal technician and cosmetic injector. She has fifteen years of experience in the beauty industry and has worked with IPL, Alexandrite, Diode and YAG laser wavelengths. Her work spans procedures, clinic operations, treatment protocols, inventory and marketing.

She attended Ogle School for Hair Skin and Nails in Dallas for its cosmetology course after high school, then received a cosmetology license and later an esthetics license. In 2009 she received certification in Advanced Medical Aesthetics at Biomani Center in Plano, Texas, under Dr. Fathi G. Fam, with training that covered chemical peels, microdermabrasion, dermaplaning and laser hair removal. She also holds a Massage Therapy License from 2011 and a Laser Hair Removal Technician certification from Texas Laser Institute.

Previous roles include Great Expectations Medispa in Lawton, Oklahoma, under Dr. Krista Gordon, where she worked with lasers, IPL and microneedling; Dallas Medical Aesthetics with Dr. Daniel Mijares, where she was trained in Galderma injectables; and Renaissance Plastic Surgery, which she joined in 2018 with Dr. Jeff Angobaldo, working on post-surgical scars and assisting in the OR at times. She began at Evolve MedSpa with Dr. Tricia Shimer in 2020, where she completed new-hire training for professional laser hair removal certification.

She is currently taking online courses through Western Governors University toward a Bachelor's in Business Administration and Management. She is interested in building a medspa brand and is seeking a partnership with a Medical Director.
