Sam Lavella

Sam Lavella is the owner of Salon Moxi and works as its master colorist and an international platform artist. He has worked in hair for about 30 years and specializes in hair cutting and coloring. He is certified as a Craft SoColor Master Colorist and has studied under instructors from Sassoon Academy and Nicholas French, among others.

He has been named to the Macadamia Professional Global Artistic Team, traveling domestically and internationally to demonstrate techniques and teach stylists. He has also been a featured artist and educator at the Matrix Craft Global Academy in New York City, training stylists from around the world, and has taught on stage to groups of up to 800 hair stylists.

His work on photo shoots, hairstyle design, fashion week and runway shows has been featured in national magazines, trade publications and beauty websites. He aims to build a team of skilled hair artists.
