Sally Alvarado

Sally Alvarado is the master hair stylist, colorist and owner of Sally Josh Hair, which she founded in 2019.

She trained at the Aveda Institute in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and later completed advanced training at Jon English Salon in Minneapolis. She also attended styling and cutting classes in New York, and continues to take classes on new techniques and styling. In 2012 she was invited to Paris Fashion Week to do hair styling for runway shows. She has mentored and taught others in haircutting.

Her work covers high precision haircuts, personalized style and color. She is known for textured cutting and styling, with a focus on dry cutting, razor cutting and curly hair. She creates updos for special occasions, from voluminous blowdries to beach wave sets. On color, she can take clients from brown to platinum blonde, and offers dimensional highlights and color gloss.

She values getting to know her clients and wants them to relax during their appointment.
