Sade Smith

Sade Smith is a curl and wave specialist at Spruce Street Salon and cuts only curly and wavy hair. She has been a licensed hair stylist since 2015. In early 2019 she began focusing on curly hair and trained in New York with Deva Curl that year.

In 2021 she began cutting only textured hair while working with Atoya at The Curly Hair Studio. She later moved to Spruce Street Salon in Tigard, where she continues that work. Her personalized scalp treatments use organic products meant to detox, calm or revitalize the scalp.

First-time clients book a Curly Experience appointment that covers goals, routine, hydration, washing and styling, and they leave with a take-home routine sheet. Clients are asked to arrive with hair washed within two days, detangled, unstyled with minimal product, and worn down without braids or ponytails. Changes are requested at least 48 hours ahead; cancelling within 24 hours incurs 75% of the booked service, and arriving more than 15 minutes late counts the same as a cancellation. Hours are Monday and Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm and Saturday 8:30 am to 2:30 pm.
