Rukia Isabel Yosuf, M.D.

Rukia Isabel Yosuf, M.D., serves as lead physician at the Irvine practice. Her training started with an MD from the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences, followed by a general surgery internship at Kaweah Medical Center. She is now in a family medicine residency at White Memorial Medical Center in Los Angeles. Her work on metabolic health and Type II diabetes has appeared in print and been shared at national and international conferences, including the World Congress on Insulin Resistance. Facial harmonization is her specialty, and she is known for a light hand that stops short of overdone results. She has spent 16 years serving the Irvine community. She speaks Spanish fluently and has varying proficiency in Urdu, Farsi and Arabic.
