Rosie Umberger

Rosie Umberger owns the studio and works as its esthetician. She began her esthetics career as a facialist, with waxing added occasionally, and now specializes in waxing.

She trained in esthetics at Aveda and brings a background in customer service and spa work to her appointments. Her waxing covers brazilian, brow and body areas. She also offers brow shaping and tinting, with the shape based on each client's bone structure. She has trained in sensory techniques including scalp, hand, arm, neck and head massage.

Many of her clients are sensory sensitive or anxious and want a place where they can simply be themselves. Her appointments are relaxed and unhurried, and she is clear that she is not a therapist or counselor.
