Rod Ortega

Rod Ortega works as a rental stylist at SECT Hair Group and has more than 40 years in the industry. He got into hair while still at high school and finished hair school during those years. Early on he did hair for music videos, television and films. He later relocated to New York and moved into fashion, taking on campaign work for L'Oreal, Dior, Gucci and Prada. For 10 years he was a spokesperson for T3 Micro. His credits include red carpet events, runway shows in New York and Paris, and more than ten years of work at the MET Gala. He has won three Daytime Emmy Awards for his work on Days of Our Lives and MAD TV.
