Dr. Robert Paresi, MD, leads Contour Plastic Surgery & Med Spa in Downers Grove, a practice he founded. He meets patients from across the greater Chicago area to learn what they need and want from treatment. He holds certification from the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery, and he has more than ten years of cosmetic surgery experience. His focus is cosmetic surgery: face and neck lifts, rhinoplasty, laser liposuction, tummy tucks, breast augmentation and lifts, and contouring of the body after significant weight loss. He has performed 10,000 procedures. His education includes a biology degree from State University of New York at Geneseo, a master's in public health from the University of Rochester, and an M.D. from St. George's University School of Medicine. He completed a five-year general surgery residency at Monmouth Medical Center, a plastic surgery fellowship at Rush University Medical Center, and an aesthetic surgery fellowship at Lenox Hill Hospital and Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital. He has served as a medical missionary in Guatemala, treating children with congenital deformities, cleft lip and palate, hand deformities and burns. He has reviewed for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Journal since 2011, has 13 peer-reviewed articles, and has presented at numerous medical conferences. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons, the American Society of Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association.
