Robert G. Bonillas, MD

Dr. Robert G. Bonillas, MD, is a board certified plastic surgeon practicing aesthetic plastic surgery at Scottsdale Plastics in Scottsdale, Arizona. His procedures include breast augmentation, lift, reduction and reconstruction, along with others the practice offers. He earned a bachelor's degree in nutritional sciences, magna cum laude, from the University of Arizona, then a medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine. He trained in general surgery at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York City and completed specialty training in plastic surgery at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He also completed visiting residencies and interim training at hospitals across the country. He was invited to postdoctoral research fellowships in tissue engineering at New York University Medical Center and Stanford University Medical Center. His research has been widely published and presented at hospitals and society meetings. He is a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Arizona Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Arizona Latin-American Medical Society.
