Rita Hazan

Rita Hazan is a colorist and the founder of the salon, and she is a pioneer in the beauty field. She attended beauty school right after high school, then started at Oribe, getting a job on the day she applied. Before working as a colorist, she assisted for an extended period, wanting to know color thoroughly before going out on her own. She was promoted to colorist at Oribe in the early 1990s. She later worked with Mariah Carey for five years, creating a new look for her. Her clients have included Beyonce, Katy Perry, Jennifer Lopez, Jessica Simpson, Aubrey Plaza and Sydney Sweeney. She created the J.Lo highlight, a blonde highlight look for Jennifer Lopez, and colored Beyonce's hair blonde about ten years ago.
