Rikya Taylor

Rikya runs KIN Studios and has worked as a natural hair care professional for more than twenty years. Services cover hair health for individual clients, textured hair, extension installation, color work and wig making. Prior to launching KIN, Rikya ran Keep It Natural Hair Salon in Smyrna, Georgia for eleven years and also worked with Koi Hair Salon in North Carolina. Hair care was also provided from a home studio on a military base in Iwakuni, Japan. Clients over the years have included glam coordinators, glam squads, television networks, music recording labels and photographers, and styling has covered weddings, special bookings, photoshoots and events. Today the work runs through KIN by Rikya Taylor in Texas, with a focus on individual hair health, extensions, color and wigs for clients who want a care plan tailored to their own natural hair.
