About
Richie, also known as Rockstar Richie, is a stylist at Rockstar Richie Hair, working inside Damron and Company Salon in northwest Austin. He has been cutting hair in Austin since 2014 and has more than 15 years behind the chair, the last 10 of them focused on curly and wavy hair. Many clients have followed him for a decade, and many more have stayed for five to ten years.
His training includes time in New York City for DevaCurl Level 3 Master, DevaCurl's top level, and he is also Rëzo certified. He performs Deva cuts and Rëzo cuts, and does curly color, including balayage placed curl by curl.
He also does color work for straight, wavy and curly hair, including dimensional balayage, blondes, brunettes, gray coverage and gloss. He has been featured in Voyage Austin.
