Richard Bird

Richard Bird is a Master Stylist at Stainless Salon in Encinitas.

He began his career in London with Steiner's Hairdressing Group, working with clients in London and other cities across Britain, and later managed salons aboard the S.S. Canberra and Cunard's Queen Elizabeth II.

He spent 12 years as Director of Beauty & Massage at the Golden Door Spa, where he also did hair and makeup for numerous magazine photo shoots. He then spent 10 years at the Jose Eber Atelier Salon at the Four Seasons Resort in Carlsbad, working mainly with vacationing guests, who are happy, relaxed and open to trying something new.

He is a member of the American Board of Certified Hair Colorists and of the British Association and Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology.
