Renée Smith

Renée Smith is a Master Hairstylist based at The QC Salon and Spa in Queen Creek, Arizona. Her training is in Aveda hairdressing. Across roughly two decades in New York City, she began as a hairdresser, moved into teaching and salon development, and eventually ran her own business, including eleven years of mobile hair services under the Renée Smith Hair Design name. She relocated to the Phoenix area in 2021. Her experience spans many hair types over several decades, including work on sheitels. Men's cuts are a specialty: she uses scissor-over-comb on short hair instead of a buzzer to shape natural contours and fades. She also cuts and styles curly hair, does formal updos and bridal trials for proms and weddings, and offers color such as ombré, caramel and chocolate highlights, and balayage.
