Renée Moran

Renée Moran owns the practice and works as its physician. She is a double board-certified anesthesiologist and an interventional pain medicine physician. Her doctorate in osteopathic medicine is from Midwestern University, and she earned a bachelor of arts in pre-medicine and psychology at Boston College. Her postdoctoral work in anesthesiology and pain medicine took place at Saint Elizabeth's Medical Center, followed by a research fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital. She is also certified in cosmetic neurotoxins, dermal fillers and microneedling.

For eight years she was on staff at Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Lahey Hospital, and for another eight she served as an instructor in anesthesiology at Beth Israel and Harvard Medical School. She then moved away from hospital work to concentrate on aesthetic medicine. For more than ten years she treated chronic migraine using Botox injections. She gives lectures in her specialty and has published dozens of articles on migraine, fibromyalgia, myofascial pain and pericranial nerve blocks. She also works as a national speaker for CoolSculpting with Allegan Medical Institute.

She leads the clinical team that sees clients at The Men's Den, teaches a Botox and dermal filler certification course for practitioners, and advises people planning to open a medical spa. She mentors pain medicine fellows, anesthesiology residents and Boston College pre-medical students, and sits on several committees, among them one focused on advocacy for women's advancement opportunities.
