Rene

Rene works as a stylist at Rene and Company in Arcadia and has served clients there since 1974. Earlier, Rene served as Educational Director for a chain of 17 salons, where teaching other stylists the craft and technical foundations of professional hair care was part of the job. Years of hands-on work in the field shape the approach.

Training in precision cutting drew on Vidal Sassoon techniques, and the teaching side reflects the Aveda approach to creative hair design. That education included sessions with Vidal Sassoon educators Trevor Zorby, Alan Benfield Bush and Tony Beckerman, as well as with Horst Rochelbacher of Aveda Corporation, including at large hair design conventions.

Services include precision haircuts, dimensional color, color correction, Brazilian Blowouts and Japanese hair straightening. Haircuts are planned around each client's hair texture, face shape and lifestyle. Clients who feel nervous about color or straightening treatments, or who need a previous salon service corrected, are part of the regular work, as are people wanting a fresh cut, smoother hair, richer color or repair after an earlier color service.
