Ren Gutierrez

Ren Gutierrez is a stylist at Suite 103 at 2505 SE 11th Ave in Portland, listed on the Capulet staff page. He has worked behind the chair for over a decade and focuses on precision cuts, vivid color, lineups and classic cuts. Ren also practices gender-affirming hair consultations and wants clients to feel more like themselves.

He trained at a beauty school in Oregon and graduated in 2014, completing the licensing requirements in hair, esthetics and nails that same year. After school, he completed an apprenticeship at a high-end day spa. He then spent seven years at a hair-only shop in Corvallis, Oregon, focusing on alternative styles, short hair and vivid color.

Ren later worked in social services in Portland starting in 2022 and taught at a beauty school in 2023. He returned to behind-the-chair work in Portland in 2025.
