Ren

Ren is a freelance hair and makeup artist and licensed cosmetologist with about 10 years in the field, traveling from Campton Hills, IL. Most of the work is weddings, photo shoots, events and formal occasions. Services include hairstyling, makeup, haircuts, facial waxing, airbrush tanning, blowouts and special effects makeup.

Styling and haircare for naturally curly and textured hair is a core strength. Featured-artist credits include art shows, festivals and fashion shows, and costume, cosplay and avant garde projects are favorites. The first hair and makeup job was with a boudoir photographer, and boudoir photo shoots are the specialty chosen as the one for a career.

Current training includes wedding hairstyling and makeup classes as a student. Classes are taught for hair and makeup artists on services inclusive of all hair types, skin colors and gender expressions, along with diversity and inclusivity trainings for stylists focused on serving people of color. Makeup products used include Temptu airbrush foundation, Sephora Collection, Juvia's Place, MAC and Charlotte Tilbury, and hair products include Moroccanoil and Dry Bar.
