About
Rebecca Chanda owns and founded House of Bloom, where she serves as clinical director, and works as a nurse practitioner who reviews the practice's weight loss consultations. She started out as a bedside nurse, spending more than 15 years in acute care, trauma and surgical settings. She then moved into advanced practice and spent over eight years in general and oncologic surgery. She is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She holds a Master of Science from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain College. Her clinical focus includes advanced aesthetic medicine, skin rejuvenation, hormone optimization and menopause care, medical weight management, regenerative treatments and longevity-focused medicine. She takes particular care with women going through perimenopause and menopause. Beyond the clinic, she is a national speaker and clinical educator in aesthetic medicine and wellness, and she trains and mentors other medical providers. She is a member of the Obesity Medicine Association and has completed a certificate of advanced education in obesity medicine. Her approach is thorough and cautious, with the aim of a refreshed appearance over a changed one.
