About
Raymond D. Jean, M.D. is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon who founded Main Line Plastic Surgery in Bryn Mawr in 2012. His plastic surgery training took place in Southern California, where he completed a residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center before setting up his own practice.
He studied human physiology as an undergraduate at Boston University, then completed the MMEDIC program there, graduating summa cum laude, and earned his medical doctorate from Boston University School of Medicine. He went on to a general surgery residency and a plastic surgery research fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. His hospital affiliations include Bryn Mawr Hospital, Paoli Hospital, Lankenau Medical Center and Riddle Hospital.
His practice focuses on breast surgery, with body contouring, facial and reconstructive procedures also part of his work. His research has been widely published and presented at national conferences.
