About
Rae Nikole is the razor haircut specialist at Hair By Rae Nikole, with more than 14 years of experience in hairdressing. She started in beauty school, focused on hair color and its chemistry, and moved toward cutting after a 2018 workshop on air-dried haircuts and clean beauty products. That workshop led her to master razor cutting, which she learned from Corrina Hernandez, Nick Arrojo, Gerard Scarpaci and Holly Seidel. In 2019 she assisted Jayne Matthews during Matthews's Southern California educational tour.
Her work celebrates natural beauty, including gray hair, curls and frizz, and aims to help clients feel at ease with the features that make their hair their own. Most of her clients are starting to explore their natural texture and ask for cuts that need little upkeep.
