About
Rachel Slife owns Revive Nail Studio and opened it in Leesburg in 2016. She holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill (2012) and a BS in Exercise Science from the University of Montana, Missoula (2007), and she worked as a physical therapist for three years. Her earlier work includes almost seven years as a natural nail technician and eight years as a certified massage therapist.
Her pedicure and manicure training includes a Dry Pedicuring Certification from Erica's ATA (2022), a Master Pedicurist Certification from the North American School of Podology (2022), a Meticulous Manicurist Certification (2023), and Waterless Pedicure Method training from Health to Beauty Nails (2025). She holds the Certified Master Pedicurist credential and a Licensed Nail Technician license. She developed gentle techniques for helping clients recover from ingrown toenails, and her work centers on restoring natural nails and skin while teaching clients about the causes of nail problems. She has spent hundreds of hours researching all-natural nail and skin care and developed the REVIVE Nail + Cuticle Salve and RECOVER Nail Treatment Oil.
Through Revive Nail Academy she created and teaches Mastering Nail + Foot Fungus, and she has been featured in an article about her work pioneering natural nail care.
