About
Rachel Akerson is the master colorist behind R.A.D.Color. She trained at St. Cloud Regency Institute, graduating in 2013, and also went through cosmetology school. After graduating she moved to Minneapolis to work as a colorist.
Over her career she has worked for, with, and alongside other stylists. In 2018 she created the Trio Hair suite together with two stylists who specialize in haircutting. Rachel does not cut hair and has not since cosmetology school, so her work at the studio is color.
Her specialties are blondes, balayage, and brunettes, with a focus on low maintenance, natural, and dimensional color that suits clients who want an easier routine between visits.
