About
Pier Derrickson co-owns NoteToSelf Wellness, where she works as a Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac.) with NCCAOM certification. Before becoming an acupuncturist she worked as an interior designer, and her education includes a Master of Science in Interior Design from Drexel University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture from Temple University's Tyler School of Art.
Her practice draws on Traditional Chinese Medicine, including Tui Na massage given alone or alongside acupuncture. Women's health is a particular focus, with treatments aimed at fertility, pregnancy and menopause. Her signature facial acupuncture is aimed at premature aging, dull skin and tension. She also works with physical complaints such as joint and muscle pain, migraines and digestive issues, plus anxiety, stress and sleep problems, and she incorporates Qi Gong and Reiki into treatments.
