Phillip Kuan, MD, is a physician with Sanba Physician Group and is quadruple board-certified. He trained at UT-Southwestern, UC-San Francisco and Harvard, and he learned under the mentorship of several figures in the aesthetic industry. His focus areas are hyperhidrosis, masseter overactivity and TMJ, and trapezius Botox for neck and shoulder pain, all using Botox or Dysport. He has extensive experience administering both. For hyperhidrosis, he places each injection precisely for the individual patient, and before masseter injections he assesses muscle structure. For trapezius treatment, he evaluates each patient's condition to set injection points and Botox dosage.
