Petra Sookhoo

Petra Sookhoo is a Master Craftsman in cosmetology at Curves Hair Studio. She began cosmetology training in 1982 at age 17 and trained for three years in Germany before becoming licensed there. She reached the Master Craftsman's Diploma for Cosmetology in Germany in 2000, and worked in the barber business there for five years.

She moved to the United States in 2001 and received a Virginia Cosmetology license in 2002, along with an instructing license the same year. She has instructed in the industry for four years and has worked on coloring and cutting for unisex and multiracial hairstyles. She serves men, women and children with a customer service focus and keeps up with the latest cutting and coloring techniques.
