Peter L. Kopelson, M.D.

Peter L. Kopelson, M.D. is a board certified dermatologist with a diplomate credential from the American Board of Dermatology, and he has run a private practice in Beverly Hills since 1993. He is also a board certified cosmetic dermatologist.

He majored in philosophy at Columbia University, taking pre-medical coursework alongside it, and received his medical degree from the NYU School of Medicine. His internal medicine internship was also at NYU School of Medicine, mostly at Bellevue Hospital. He completed his dermatology residency at the UCLA School of Medicine, where he was chief dermatology resident. While in medical school, he started dermatology research with an NYU dermatologist and researcher, helping with investigations and writing journal articles. He holds medical licenses in California and New York. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and belongs to the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.

His work centers on cosmetic procedures and laser treatments, including laser skin rejuvenation and clinical cosmetic treatments. He also diagnoses skin cancers and complex medical skin conditions.
