Peter Chien, MD, PhD, FAAD

Peter Chien is a board certified dermatologist at Lumos Dermatology, where he provides general and cosmetic dermatology. He is certified by the American Board of Dermatology. His practice centers on preventing and treating medical skin conditions along with aesthetic rejuvenation, with particular attention to minor surgical procedures and aesthetics. He earned a bachelor's degree in molecular and cell biology at the University of California at Berkeley. Training includes the M.D.-Ph.D. program at NYU School of Medicine, an intern year in medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine, and a dermatology residency at NYU School of Medicine. He holds a faculty position at Harvard Medical School in the Department of Dermatology, and his research focuses on lupus and other autoimmune diseases.
