Peter Brokt

Peter is the owner colorist at The Colourist Salon. Training with Kadus Haircolor in Houston, Texas formed a large part of his education, and he has taught as a Kadus Haircolor instructor since 2001. He earned American Board Certified Master colorist status in Boston, Massachusetts in 2003 and joined the Kadus Artistic Team the following year, in 2004.

On the creative side, he once styled Princess Matilda of Belgium during her visit to the nation's capital. In 2010 Sam Brocato, his mentor, selected him for a leading role on the Brocato Color Creative Design Team. Four years later, in 2014, Don Bewley, CEO of Eufora International, asked him to become a Eufora trainer; he now teaches Eufora hair color across the United States and Canada. In 2019 he appeared on the main stage in a production at the Eufora Global Connection event in San Diego.

He is known for artistic color compositions and color application techniques. He is recognized in the industry for clear-cut color work on stage and for running busy model rooms backstage. He came up through every level at the first US salon where he worked.
