Perla is the owner and esthetician of Wax n' Peels, and she is a licensed esthetician with over 20 years of professional skincare experience. She has ongoing advanced skincare training and is a Face Reality Certified Acne Expert. Her work covers Brazilian waxing, facials, acne treatments, chemical peels and healthy aging skincare. She designs personalized acne programs for teens and adults that pair professional treatments with customized home care and follow-up guidance. Before recommending a peel, she completes a professional skin evaluation to choose the peel that suits the client's skin. She incorporates electroporation, LED light therapy and microcurrent into selected facial treatments and chooses the modality for each client based on their skin concerns and goals. For microcurrent, she adjusts technique and areas of focus to each client's facial structure, muscle tone and goals, and she recommends a series followed by periodic maintenance sessions. Her Signature Sculpt & Lift Facial begins with an assessment of facial movement and muscle tension. Her waxing is gentle and meticulous, and she keeps a strict no double-dipping rule for Brazilian waxing.
