Penny Anderson

Penny Anderson owns and runs Wild At Heart Studio in Scottsdale, where she has worked since 1998. She is a permanent makeup artist and also performs skin care and scalp micropigmentation.

She is a licensed cosmetologist, with cosmetology training completed in 1989, and has been a licensed aesthetician in Scottsdale since 1997. She also holds a Licensed Aesthetics Instructor credential and is a certified and licensed permanent makeup artist (C.P.C.). Her teaching work includes instructing aesthetics at Carsten Institute in 2001 and at the National Aesthetics Institute from 1998 to 2000. From 2009 to 2013 she was an instructor at the Skin & Makeup Institute in Scottsdale, where she wrote the curriculum for its advanced 70-hour Permanent Cosmetic Course. She is also a senior educator at The Skin and Makeup Institute and a permanent makeup instructor.

Her permanent makeup work ranges from basic to advanced brows, eyeliner, lip liner, full lips and areola restoration. She is trained on both coil machines and rotary pins and specializes in the Softap hand tool method. On the skin care side, she has used collagen induction therapy and Rhonda Allison peels for advanced chemical exfoliation, and she also uses VascuTouch on spider veins, broken capillaries, skin tags, cherry angioma and hyper-keratosis. She is a certified scalp micropigmentation artist and a certified Dermapen clinician, and she is certified in Vi Peel application.
