Paul F. Fortes

Paul F. Fortes is Medical Director of the practice and of its med spa and rejuvenation center. He is a double-board-certified plastic surgeon and a partner of The Aesthetic Center for Plastic Surgery, LLP, where he has worked for more than 20 years. The practice describes him as one of Houston's premier mommy makeover specialists and says his training is among the most extensive in his field. He earned a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Rice University, graduating magna cum laude and joining Phi Beta Kappa. He then completed a Doctor of Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine with honors and was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha. He interned and completed his surgical residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, serving as chief resident in general surgery in 1995. He trained in plastic and reconstructive surgery at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University in Chicago, serving as chief resident in plastic surgery in 1998. According to the practice, he received a merit award in 1993 for the highest score on an in-service examination. His named specialties include mommy makeovers and the Fortes Figure combination treatment, breast augmentation, breast lift and reduction, facial lifting including facelift and neck lift, blepharoplasty, and body procedures such as tummy tuck, liposuction and body lift. He also performs procedures for men and for male-to-female patients. The practice says he was named a Top Doctor in Plastic Surgery in Houston and a 2024 Texas Super Doctor by Texas Monthly, his 11th year on that list. He holds privileges at several Houston-area facilities, including St. Luke's Episcopal, Memorial Hospital, Methodist Hospital Sugarland and Park Plaza Hospital. He is board certified through ABPS and ABS, and the website lists him as certified in CO2, erbium and alexandrite laser surgery. He is a Diplomate and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a Fellow of the International College of Surgeons, and a member of ASPS and ASAPS.
