Paul Carrell, MD

Paul Carrell, MD, co-founded Snatched Aesthetic Wellness, where he serves as Medical Director. He is a board-certified anesthesiologist who has worked in Austin for more than two decades. His anesthesia practice has included patients undergoing operations across almost all surgical specialties, using regional, neuraxial and general techniques, and he has given thousands of labor epidurals. He is skilled in ultrasound-guided procedures such as central line insertion and regional nerve blocks, and he applies ultrasound in his aesthetic practice. He completed anesthesiology training at the University of California, San Francisco, and an internal medicine internship at Brackenridge Hospital in Austin. For aesthetic and regenerative care, he holds a non-ABMS board certification in aesthetic medicine from the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine. He is also certified by Biote in hormone optimization, including testosterone and estradiol pellet therapy, and certified in regenerative sexual-health procedures, including the O-Shot and P-Shot. He is trained in GAINSWave shockwave therapy and in advanced Sciton laser systems. His continuing education through the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine covers longevity medicine, bioidentical hormone replacement, metabolic health and peptide therapies. Patients can book in-person GLP-1 microdosing consultations with him. He aims for every patient to feel heard, understood, safe and confident in their care.
