Dr. Flint owns the practice and is a board-certified plastic surgeon with more than 25 years of experience in private practice. She earned a bachelor's degree in physiology at UC Davis from 1981 to 1985 and a medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston from 1985 to 1989. Baylor College of Medicine honored her with the Samuel Spira Award in 1989, which recognizes promise for a future in plastic surgery.
She completed a general surgery residency at the Phoenix Integrated Surgical Residency Program from 1989 to 1994, serving as chief resident in 1993 and 1994, followed by a plastic surgery residency at the University of Texas at Houston and MD Anderson Cancer Center from 1994 to 1996. She was board certified by the American Board of Surgery from 1995 to 2005 and by the American Board of Plastic Surgery in 1999, re-certified in 2009. She is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and served as Chief of Plastic Surgery at Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn from 2000 to 2002. Early in her career she performed head and neck cancer reconstruction for eight years, and she trained as a microsurgeon. She attends at least two plastic surgery educational symposia each year and belongs to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the Maricopa Medical Society and the American Medical Association.
Her focus is facial rejuvenation, including the traditional full facelift, along with breast and body procedures and non-surgical treatments. For facelifts she favors the SMAS technique and a double-layer method for repositioning deeper tissues, with incisions placed in inconspicuous areas. For breast augmentation she prefers silicone implants placed under the muscle through an incision of about two inches. She performs skin evaluations, all injectable treatments and deeper peels herself. She has been named a Top Doc by Phoenix Magazine in multiple years from 1997 to 2024, a Best Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon by Arizona Foothills Magazine in 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017, and received a Caring Doctor Award for 2017 and 2019.
