Patrick R. Felice, MD

Patrick R. Felice, MD, works as a plastic surgeon at Youthful Images in Avon, Connecticut. He holds an undergraduate biology degree with honors from West Virginia University, then spent three years in research with the Department of Pharmacology before completing his medical doctorate at the West Virginia University School of Medicine. He did a five-year general surgery residency at the University of Connecticut from 1983 to 1988, publishing several papers on general surgery and trauma during training. He came back to Hartford in 1990 to open his practice. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery (1990) and the American Board of Plastic Surgery (1995), which makes him double board certified in general and plastic surgery. His work centers on aesthetic plastic surgery, and he developed a range of techniques using different lasers, which led to invitations to lecture and teach. In 1994 he was one of only a few plastic surgeons in the country to anticipate lasers in aesthetic work. He belongs to the American Society of Plastic Surgery and is a former president of the Connecticut Society of Plastic Surgery, and he values keeping long-term connections with patients.
