Patrick Lucaci, D.D.S., M.D.

Patrick Lucaci, D.D.S., M.D., practices at 816 Med Spa in Kansas City as a physician and doctor of dental surgery. His education includes a bachelor's degree in dental surgery from Makerere University in Uganda, plus academic credits from Queen's University Belfast and the Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm, Sweden. He completed his doctor of dental surgery at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry in 2009, graduating with honors, and earned a medical degree from the University of Missouri School of Medicine in 2012. He trained at UMKC through a general surgery residency and an oral and maxillofacial surgery residency, and holds a certificate in oral and maxillofacial surgery from that school. He is a board-certified oral surgeon with the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and holds ACLS, PALS, ATLS and BLS certifications. He has years of experience in the medical spa industry and has served the Salina, Kansas area since completing his education. Hospital affiliations include Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri, from 2009, and Salina Surgical Hospital from 2016. Past affiliations include Children's Mercy Hospital, the Saint Luke's Hospital system from 2009 to 2015, and the Kansas City Veterans Administration Hospital in 2013. His med spa work focuses on dermal fillers and wrinkle relaxers, as well as nonsurgical, minimally invasive procedures such as laser hair removal and FaceTite. He has additional training in facial anatomy, oral and maxillofacial surgery and minimally invasive aesthetics. Professional memberships include the American Dental Association, the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and several other organizations. He has contributed to several journals and has lectured on dental implant surgery, maxillofacial trauma surgery and facial cosmetic surgery. Honors include the 2008 Dentsply Award for Best Table Clinic and the 2015 Mosby Surgical Excellence Award.
