Patrick Evan

Patrick Evan founded Patrick Evan Salon, a hair salon in San Francisco. He began at 18 training in cutting with Yosh Toya at the YOSH salon on Maiden Lane, then built his styling skills at Lew Gallo Salon, where he joined the KMS Hair Care artistic design team. By 21 he was teaching up-dos and styling nationwide as a KMS platform artist, in classes of as many as 1,200 stylists. His runway work includes Macy's Passport, fall collections by Isaac Mizrahi and Wilkes Bashford shown in San Francisco, and Macy's Junior League. He has spent 26 years on hair texture, including smoothing, straightening and transformation, and has 22 years of experience with Japanese straightening. Smoothing and straightening are his main specialties. He completed advanced YUKO training at the brand's flagship in Tokyo and in Beverly Hills, and was trained by the Japanese companies behind YUKO, Liscio and iStraight. He is certified in all three systems, including Liscio by Milbon, and chooses among several Liscio formula strengths to suit each service. Treatments he offers include thermal reconditioning and retouches, keratin smoothing, and restorative collagen treatments.
