Paola Soto

Paola Soto founded Synergy Beauty and leads both the studio and Synergy Beauty Academy. Her roles include permanent makeup artist, master esthetician, esthetics instructor and international permanent makeup educator. She approaches the work as a blend of artistry and technical science, guided by compassion, precision and a goal of helping clients look and feel their best. She designs personalized treatments for women and men aimed at rebuilding confidence and bringing out natural features.

She trained at the Esthetic Institute in Vienna, Virginia, where she earned professional certification in skincare and permanent cosmetics and later became an instructor. She also trained under Sviatoslav Otchenash in Stardust and S Magic techniques, and under Elena Nechayeva. In November 2017 she became the first certified Spanish-speaking trainer for Otchenash's techniques. She holds a bachelor's degree in tourism and hospitality from SEK University and a second degree in international business from Pace University. She is a former active member of the Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals.

Her specialties include natural-looking nano brows, machine hairstrokes, and hairstroke and natural-pattern brows, as well as mixed brow techniques. She also works on eyeliner and lash enhancement, soft-shaded eyeliner, lip blush, lip color and dark-lip neutralization. Her practice includes permanent makeup correction and both laser and non-laser permanent makeup removal. She has worked with plastic surgeons at the Virginia Institute of Plastic Surgery and M Body in Tysons Corner, and with a clinic in Santiago, Chile. She was named among the top trainers and educators at Sviato Academy, and has received awards at international conferences. She teaches permanent makeup at Synergy Beauty Academy, mentoring future artists.
