Ozzy Vera owns the studio and works as a hair replacement specialist. His books, lectures and charity events have earned him an international reputation.
His first book, I Kept My Promise, is a guide for salons and stylists serving clients who are about to lose their hair while living with cancer. It is organized in three parts: his own story, advice for salons, and guidance on which questions to ask. The book also addresses living with a degenerative disease, psychosomatic issues, malnutrition and hair loss.
A second book, LIFE Inside the Storage Box, continues from the first and covers the psychological, social and behavioral aspects of cancer, as well as cognitive fog after treatment.
