Oumy

Oumy is the chief executive officer of Moumy. She worked in a salon in Senegal before moving to the U.S., and began braiding professionally after arriving. She learned knotless and boho braiding techniques and, after three years of professional braiding in the U.S., opened her first salon. Her work is framed around building confidence and community, with the aim of giving clients a space where they feel seen, appreciated and at their best.
