Olha Kotsiubailo

Olha Kotsiubailo is the founder of SpaceLA Beauty Studio in Los Angeles and of Space26 Beauty Studio in Kyiv, and works as a master colorist and educator. She has worked in the beauty industry for over 10 years, starting as a young master in Ukraine and growing into the owner of a beauty studio there before opening Space26 in 2021. After moving to the United States she founded SpaceLA.

She specializes in complex hair-coloring techniques, colorimetry, AirTouch, blonde work and contouring. She developed the Velour Luxe Technique, a method of selectively darkening strands, and has authored the Shadow Balance Method, Soft Geometry Sectioning, Reverse Air Stroke and multi-layered tonality. She treats hair color as something designed rather than improvised, starting from the natural movement of the hair, the skin undertone and the light. Her aim is for clients to feel beautiful, confident and successful in looks that reflect their individuality. She works with clients across the United States and Europe.

She competes and judges in beauty championships. She placed first in AirTouch, Contouring and Total Blond and was named 3x champion at the Empire of Beauty International Championship in Washington, USA, in 2025, and placed first in Blond PRO Expert at the SPU Online Championship in 2026. She won the Avant-Garde Master category at Empire of Beauty in Poznan, Poland, in 2021, and first place in the Avant-Garde Junior category at the Winners League in Helsinki, Finland, in 2015. She works as an international judge of beauty championships. Other recognition includes a 2022 diploma of honor as a Leader of Enterprise of Ukraine, a Mayor's Commendation from the City of Glendale, official recognition from the California State Senate, and inclusion among the Top 30 Women Entrepreneurs to Follow in 2025 by NY Weekly Magazine. She has been featured in VoyageLA, Caprice Lifestyle Magazine and New Times Magazine.

She teaches author masterclasses, modern coloring, blond techniques and personal brand development for hairstylists, and she develops professional beauty products.
