Octavia Hooks owns Octavia's Natural Experience and opened the business in 2025, after more than 25 years in a previous career. She is a certified loctician, a licensed barber, a certified Sisterlocks consultant and a certified hot yoga instructor. Her hair work includes Sisterlock stylings, loc repair and loc extensions, along with barber cuts. She also teaches introductory yin yoga sessions. Her approach centers on care and alignment rather than quick fixes, working with both hair and everyday life. New clients are welcome in the space.
