About

Nyla, known as Natalie, is the founder of The Apothecary Collective and a master hair extension stylist. She specializes in custom hair extensions that blend with natural texture and works as a microlink specialist in Florida. She teaches The Link Up extension class. Her career began in 2017 in California. She started out braiding hair to pay for college, later worked in insurance in Texas, and returned to styling full-time in December 2020. From May 2021 she worked at a high-profile salon in Miramar, and in November 2021 she opened her own solo salon suite. During the pandemic she also worked for a pharmaceutical sales company, where she learned about product formulation. Her work aims to improve the finished look with extensions while leaving natural hair unharmed. Classes cover placement, tension, weight distribution, blending, maintenance and choosing the right method. Natalie has completed more than 3,000 client services and has taught 14 students.
