About
Nyah Blais is a California-licensed acupuncturist at the Oakland office, accepting new patients on Mondays and Thursdays. She is in network with Cigna, is currently pursuing national board certification, and leads the holistic fertility program at Oakland. She earned a Master's degree in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine from AIMC in Berkeley, and completed nursing prerequisites before moving into acupuncture. Her clinical experience includes work with women undergoing cancer treatment at the Charlotte Maxwell Clinic, support for patients at the Women's Resource Center in San Francisco, and treatment of orthopedic conditions in student athletes at UC Berkeley. She has also taken part in community pop-up clinics focused on queer and trans wellness. Her focus is reproductive and women's health, including menstrual irregularities, PCOS, endometriosis, hormonal health, fertility and IVF or IUI support, menopause and pelvic health. She also works with stress, sleep disturbances, digestive concerns and chronic pain, and offers scalp acupuncture for headaches, migraines, neurological conditions, and stroke or brain injury rehabilitation. Her care is trauma-informed, and she works to create a safe, inclusive space for the LGBTQIA+ community.
