Novel Ink Tattoo is a tattoo studio and suite tenant at Volition, at the same Osseo address. Appointments are grouped by piece size. Tiny pieces, about a quarter size or smaller or one-word small script, start at $150 for 60 minutes. Small pieces, such as detailed work two to three inches across, two to four inch word scripts or two to three tiny tattoos, start at $200 for 90 minutes. Medium pieces, including palm-sized florals, scripts of five or more words or two to three small or tiny tattoos, start at $300 for 150 minutes. Large pieces about five inches or more start at $450 for 195 minutes.

Deposits are $25 for tiny and small tattoos and $50 for medium and large tattoos. The deposit goes toward the total and is nonrefundable. Pricing includes one complimentary touch-up within a year after the tattoo heals. Clients are asked to send tattoo inspiration before the appointment, and a consultation is offered. The studio is open Tuesday and Wednesday 10 AM to 4 PM, Thursday 1 PM to 7 PM, Friday 9 AM to 12 PM and Saturday 9 AM to 2 PM, and closed Monday and Sunday.
